If no 68000 hardware is available CP/M-68K can be run on a Windows PC on top of a piece of software that emulates a basic 68000 computer i.e. a 68000 simulator. Follow the steps below to get CP/M-68K running in Easy68K's simulator Sim68K.

1. Download the following files:
  bios.s68
  cpm15000.s68
  diska.s68
  diskb.s68
2. Launch Sim68K
3. 'File Menu'+'Open' bios.s68
4. 'File Menu'+'Open Data' cpm15000.s68
5. 'File Menu'+'Open Data' diska.s68
6. 'File Menu'+'Open Data' diskb.s68
7. 'Options Menu'+'Enable Exceptions' = True
8. Set the PC Register to 00015000
9. 'Run Menu'+'Run' (or hit F9)

A> (the CP/M prompt) appears in Sim68K's console I/O window - CP/M-68K is now running and ready to accept commands.
